Merry Christmas everybody. I hope everyone will have a Happy and wonderful holiday. I am seeking some opinions please. I have my motorhome in Elkhart getting some interior rennovations done. The company doing the work offered me a nice discount to have the exterior painted this year instead of next. So if I take them up on their offer I am uncertain whether to spend $1295 extra on Dimond Shield. Back in September I did some research on some other forums on the pros and cons of the product. Those that seem to dislike it complain of peeling, cracking and yellowing. Also those that dislike it state its a real pain to remove it if it starts to look bad. Initially when I dropped my coach off I was going to eliminate it from the invoice based on my research, but my sales rep told me that the product they use today is much better than the older 3M product and if it was his coach getting a new paint job that he would add it. I am not that familiar with the product as my coach originally didn't have it, so I am soliciting opinions on whether if it was your coach would you get it or not?
Thanks

If Diamond Shield is installed properly, it works well. When Newmar repainted our coach in 2010, they put new Diamond Shield on it and except for a spot where a rock damaged it, it still looks good. But many had hastily installed Diamond Shield or other issues and hated it.
