Just wondering if there are anymore fuel discount cards available other than the Pilot RV card. Really like the Pilot card and the ease of not dealing with the cramp space of regular pumps. Talked to a Love's Corporate Personel and asked them to look at the Pilot plan to see if they could setup a card for us RV'ers. He said it would help if we sent emails to them asking for this. So please take the time and help get this available for us.

I use Pilot / Flying J all the time but it sure would be nice to have a alternative with a similar program for RVers.
I enjoy the convenience of the Pilot Flying J program; however, I often find their diesel prices are higher even with the discount than nearby gas stations that don't cater to big rigs. I consider I am paying more for easy access, high flow pumps, higher dollar limits at the pumps, and hopefully fresh diesel.
I may copy and paste my annual Pilot Flying J fuel statement to that note to Love's Corp office to make our point.

In preparation for traveling north western U.S. I have a Pacific Pride card. Theses are card lock stations that are prevelant throughout the NW. There are very few other types of truck stops, especially in Oregon.
You can get these via the Pioneer Fuel web site.

We use Flying J/Pilot throughout the PNW, plus a couple of local ones. Lots of reservations where the fuel is free from state taxes. Price per gallon for Pacific Pride often turns out to be high - used mainly by companies for fleet trucks, price goes down with volume buying.

The best deal we've found is a Sams Club MasterCard - we get 5% cash back on ALL fuel purchased ANYWHERE. If you have/use any other discounts (like grocery store points or $.03 off per gallon at Sheetz (or similar) card) you get the 5% off also! There is a $55 per year membership to Sams Club fee but last year we got a check for $388! This also includes 3% for travel/dining out and 1% on all else - and yes CG fees count as travel! More than pays for itself plus we shop in Sams for certain items.

We have found using "GasBuddy" gets better fuel prices than the gas cards we have. As we pull a 5th Wheel we are disconnected when fueling the truck.
We swipe our Good Sam card at Pilot/Flying J, and pay with our PenFed Cash Rewards Visa Card. The GS card drops the price by $0.03/gal, and PenFed rebates 5% back credited to our account monthly. Today at the Ft Chiswell, VA Flying J, the combination dropped a $2.15 posted price to $2.02.
