hello, we are living full time with 2 kids and pets and looking to upgrade to a better floor plan. We are currently in a 2007 cedar creek silverback 33bhts and like the quality but the floor plan has some problems for us. Mainly that the only bathroom is in the mbr. we also would like to give our teenage daughter some privacy from her brother.
We have seen some good floor plans including a gateway 380 rlb which has a 1/2 bath. However, I have questions about the quality vs the cedar creek. I do not want to introduce quality problems, especially living full time. Does anyone have experience with gateway compared to cedar creek! How do they compare?
Also, are there other quality brands that have good floor plans? Colu has a loft model that may work. We can tow up to 18000 so the DRV are not an option.

If you're talking about a Heartland Gateway, I don't know if is considered a full-timers unit however the Heartland Landmark, Big Horn and Big Country are all rated and warranted for full time use. Check all three lines HERE.

I recently saw a 5er floor plan that had separate bunk rooms at the rear with closets and a half-bath between. But I can't remember the brand. Try Googling "bunk house 5th wheel rv".

There are quite a few bunkhouse models available. Are you thinking new or used? What's your budget? If money is no object and you want new, New Horizons will built exactly what you want. Otherwise, check out the Open Range offerings. Some of those had us really thinking about them for a while.
