Folks besides you . Not everyone is a minimalist. Canadian company as well. Nice folks with a very interesting product . That does have a place . Especially for folks getting rid of hard wired.

Don't criticize. There are lots of RV'ers that have a need for boosting signals in some way. For instance, where we are located in Oregon, mountains block our cell signals at the RV to where we may have 1 or 2 bars. Drive 1/4 mile south of the RV and we get 3 to 4 bars.
If you travel enough, you may find that your cell signals aren't very strong in some places either.

I do travel for 6 months/year and I don't miss my cell if for a certain period the cell signal is poor, I'll catch up the following day.

A lot of people need to stay connected. They cannot just catch up the next day . Like if they still are maintaining a part time or full time job . Being connected to family is important . In case of emergency . Amplifiers do not just connect voice but Also Cellular data which it seems is very important to people in the 21st century. Glad you can always just catch up. But you are not the norm.

I'm not a full timer either, my cell is to talk with family and people and for emergency, and my voicemail is activated just in case I miss a call; it ain't worse then in the past, looking for a payphone !
For DATA, I use my tablet or my laptop on available WI-FI or on my "MI-FI" and with it I can communicate with everyone via Skype or Factime. https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/verizon-jetpack-4g-lte-mobile-hotspot-mifi-4510l/

For those running a business on the road, the Zigee could be a great addition to their arsenal.
This forum is for a diverse group of people, with a diverse set of needs. Some need to be online or available by phone 24/7 and can't "catch up the next day".
