Congrats on retirement. I have no experience with any of the models mentioned as we owned a Monaco. Don't know where in the world you are located, but if near the west coast have a look at: www.demartinirv.com/
Best of luck on your new journey.

If it were me, I'd be looking at a Foretravel.

X2. Not knocking Tiffin, but if I was buying an older rig I'd be shopping for a Foretravel too.

We are happy with our Tiffin and the factory maintenance and support system. Check out the tiffinrvnetwork in your research.

X3. We bought our 2005 Foretravel back in May. It's built for fulltime use. Love our Foretravel!

We're fulltiming in our 1993 Foretravel. Quite a few Foretravelers are full-timers.

I have looked at foretravel and like them , for us we would need to stay under 2002 model price wise, most only have one full wall slide , I love my wife but think may need a little more space.. our daughters live in Dallas so we could go buy MOT to look at some , tell what you like about yours .

I was looking for no longer than 36' with at least 400HP Cummins. Ours has that, Tons of power to pull our enclosed trailer. Ours has two hydraulic slides, both are solid one piece fiberglass with air bladder seal! No worrying about leaks or drafts! Love the solid Walnut cabinets and Tile through out. Also they are insulated extremely well from top to bottom. Foretravel uses 8 outboard airbags which is like riding on a cloud. also the transmission retarder is wonderful on the hills and mountain descents. I could go on and on, but I would recommend just comparing a Foretravel to any other Manufacturer and you'll see the difference. Good Luck in your search!

We looked at Foretravel and Newell. Well made rigs for sure. Our budget (<$200K) would put us in a early to mid 2000's unit which have 1-2 slides. We found the layouts to be functional, but a bit Spartan and cramped. Within our budget, the Allegro Bus 2005-2010 with 4 slides, a 400hp side radiator Cummins, IFS, raised rail frame, AquaHot gave us more living and storage space. We modified the rig with several upgrades (modern shades, residential refrigerator, new satellite antenna, and LED TVs) that make it more comfortable and functional. It really comes down to a solid rig with the layout you like. It is a very personal decision.
Best of luck on your new journey.
