We have cancelled our order with Augusta and have switched to a Vilano F/W. Solar man is coming and we will increase our solar and battery bank for our commercial refrigerator. Hope to have it tomorrow if I get all my solar removed from our Cougar.

Picked her up today, and a whole new mess of things to learn about the equipment. She is a beautiful unit for sure. Can't wait to install our solar so we can go boondocking in those out of the way places. It's a big step up for sure from the Cougar. Love the self leveling, storage compartment not quite what I wanted but it will do. Love the 48x30 shower and tub. I can set down and scrub my feets. Ice maker in frig, motion sensors on all lights. We feel like big doggies now. At 34' 7" she is perfect. Inside has plenty of storage. We set in her and look at each other and smile. Life is good. To all our friends out there, happy trails. We did add Firestone air bags to P.J. and a new Curt 20k hitch. Pulled real nice on the way to Mom's house
Campers Inn where we purchased the unit gave us a one year membership to Thousand Trails Also.

Congratulations on the new rig. Lot's to learn about your new equipment, but at least you're experienced RVers. When we bought our rig, I didn't know come 'ere from sic 'em. Never dumped a black tank in my life ... I needed to learn how to do that REAL GOOD, a mistake there gets ugly quick. 😬
I know you are excited, and I'm happy for you!! Your rig sounds fantastic!!

Carolinakids,
Would you be willing to share why you switched from Augusta to the Vilano? And which model of the Augusta were you at first interested in?
