Hello and greetings from Kansas!
My wife and I are both online K-12 teachers and plan to be RVing full time in March 2017 and we will both be working out of our 2005 30' Airstream Safari. We are in the process of modifying this trailer to put in 2 office areas. We just have to take out a few things, re-do some interior, add wi-fi extenders, cellular boosters, antennas, some plugs, etc., sign up for a mail forwarding company and change our address to South Dakota (and all that goes with that), and then we SHOULD be ready to go!
We are excited to be part of this forum.

Hi, Rosmuck3,
I am also a teacher who is going to be FTing next year, and I would be interested in hearing a bit about your plans to be "online teachers."
Will you be contracting with an online-education firm? Or will you be more self-employed with your own client list?
I think continuing to teach as I drive off into the sunset is a good way to move along in life...
Regards,
Frank

Welcome!! I think it's great you are teaching online. If you are not aware of it yet there is a great app called Coverage? that shows the strength of cell service. My husband and I work on the road as well and coverage is very important to us in our campground selection process. Congratulations, it's a very fun life.

Cool plan. I'm also curious about your plans for working as an online teacher.
My current career doesn't allow me to work online. But over the past couple of years I've been trying to figure out what I want to do that will allow me to work online.
