As everyone knows Lifestyle and Evergreen have closed there doors which leaves many of us with factory warranty time that is at best questionable until perhaps a rights buyout or some other takeover of the brand. Well I want to share a good news story from a dealership in Edmonton Alberta, Canada that I am very happy to be working with.
The rear skirting sections on my 15 Lifestyle 38RS have split at the rear corners on both sides and need replacement. Over the winter the service people at Trailblazer RV did the work to go through all the channels to get the right parts sent from the factory. Fairly long process in itself but they are here. I asked the service manager Rae-Ann Graham about how we are going to proceed now that Lifestyle is closed. Will they get paid for the install which was approved for 4.5 hours per side? Her immediate answer "don't worry Dave, we have the parts and it's just a few hours labor so we'll cover it and get your rig fixed up with the new panels". Of course I'm a pretty happy Trailblazer customer as usual, they have been great to work with. Shop foreman, Jeff, is really honest about repairs and what may need a second look later on. Also he has some fantastic guys in the shop working for him. While parked in their lot one night for early morning appointment next day I offered Jeff and one of his techs a beer and really enjoyed talking with them outside of "work". Great guys that give me great service!
So for anyone traveling through the Edmonton area this summer (it's on the way south from Alaska if using the Alberta route) I recommend you call Trailblazer RV if your rig is having issues. There are 2 large campsites within a couple miles of the dealership which is also very handy. They are on the west side of Edmonton out of the city in a place called Acheson, Alberta. Easy to find and great shop.

That's good to hear. Now-a-days a guy doesn't get much for good tech and service or warranty issues fixed.

Have had 5er work done at Trailblazer twice (one at the old big shop south of Edmonton and a week ago at the new small shop in Acheson.) The work both times was first class (rare in Canada) but not cheap. I would highly recommend them too. As far as the campground in Acheson (Glowing Embers), I'd go west to Stony Plain instead.

I agree Glowing Embers doesn't have the "it" factor but we stayed 2 nights in a 50 amp pull thru ($47 C ) and it was ok. The view out the window was their storage lot but it was quiet and we met a couple nice people so turned out alright. Really liked the Kinsmen Park on the edge of St Albert. Nice sites and a fantastic trail system to downtown with a nice park right outside the gate.

Not everybody. It would explain why we have unable to get any info recently about their new line introduced last year. They were on our short list. The side hauler feature was ideal for our plans.... oh well, at least we still have a couple of years to go.
