After ordering a cellular signal booster, I downloaded the manual for it and started reading. That's when I learned about registering the booster with my carrier. I followed the link in the PDF manual to the specific Verizon web page and read that Verizon "would like" (same language used in the manual) customers to register their booster with Verizon AND notify them whenever the booster is moved. The Verizon page did not use the word "require." Since registering the booster doesn't seem to be an FCC requirement (correct me if I'm wrong), how many of you who have one registered it with your carrier? As full-time RVers who use the wheels on their RV for moving it (rather than sitting in one place), notifying VW each time we move would be a bigger PITA than giving Dish a new ZIP code to get local TV stations! I would love to hear any and all points of view on this topic, please.

Should have been a Label on the devise advising of all this. It is required but very loosely enforced at this time. As long as your amplifier passes all the new regulations you are fine . The FCC is implementing new testing procedures and retesting every unit on the market so lots of current products on the market could go away. SureCall has already had two licenses revoked.
