Well it is official, we will be full time RVers quicker than expected. Technically I guess we are returning to full time RVing as that is how we lived for several years when we first were together so we could save and build the American dream of a "regular home" out in the country. Well, after 20 years and many things in between we put our house up for sale and instead of the 3-6 months expected it took 3 days to sell. Currently sitting waiting for the Auctioneer to come look at stuff for the big auction. Probably going to be a bit stressful on that day. Good thing we have been researching and trying to figure out what and how to do this over the last 3 years, we feel ready! We will move into our current little 5th wheel until we get our new bigger one. We fell in love with the Montana 3690RD because I can sit and watch TV and never have to look at the kitchen! Problem is the floor plan is so new used models are not available. We plan on spending our first winter boondocking in Quartzite. After many years spending winters on a sailboat in the Abaco's it will be nice to not have to run from weather. Looking forward to meeting everyone and develop the same type of friendships our boating experience gave us.

Welcome!! We wintered in Quartszite last year and it was a lot of fun. There is an annual RV-Dreams gathering there and lots of people get together.

Thanks, we are looking forward to the adventure! I know this is off topic, but is there a trick to getting your avatar up? I tried uploading a pic from my computer, seems to upload but does not show up? I see you have one so I just thought I would ask.

Welcome! We enjoy Quartzsite for part of the winter, always fun to connect with RV friends and that's a great place to do that. Of course, we have a habit of going in and out of Q several times a winter, love finding somewhere with a hot tub in between or a state park with great hiking trails. We have wintered in AZ the last 3 years and there's still so much more to see and do, places that are still on our "must explore" list.
Here's a link on how to post your avatar, funny I was just thinking about changing ours, so I needed to look it up myself.
