I'm open to about any music except heavy metal. But one time while camping near Sturgis there was a couple with a big diesel pusher and a trailer with their two harleys. They both had to be near 80 having a great time. The next morning while leaving they made a loop around the camp ground playing Willie Nelson's "On The Road Again" over a loud speaker. It was early but they were having a grand time so it was hard to be mad at the noise. Well last year we purchased a 41ft diesel pusher and guess what. I'm looking for a loud speaker and a Willie CD.

Some of the same ones that wind up on the lets-go-walking playlists on the old Ipod, the ones with traveling themes. "They Call Me The Breeze" done by Lynyrd Skynyrd. "Ragtop Day" from Jimmy Buffett". "Carolina in the Pines" Michael Martin Murphey I think? Jackson Browne "The Load Out". "Buffalo River Home" by John Hiatt. There's my 5. But no fair asking the question without putting in your 2 cents!

The wife and I both like New Age music like Yanni, Patrick O'Hearn, David Arkenstone, Enya, etc., but when traveling, I prefer the more upbeat tunes rather than the slower, softer "sleepy-time" music. One in particular I like, mostly because of the title, is Patrick O'Hearn's, "Forever the Optimist."
Oh, and about all the New Age stuff we like is mostly instrumental. But, we also take a liking to Celtic Woman.

We like a variety of music. However the DW likes it loud, I like it as background music. So typically she will turn on the radio and after a few miles I turn down the volume then she turns it back up when a song that she likes comes on, then I turn it down and eventually we turn it off. She's a lot country and I'm a lot Rock'N Roll....we both will listen to other genres.
Lately it seems the comedy channels on our Sirius or iHeart Radio App is what we listen to most
In the 40 years we've been married it seems like we always have something to talk about so most of the time we are jabbering away as we go down the road.

Well, not many tunes in our truck, DH isn't a fan of "distracting sounds:, but once in a while I too prefer up beat tunes. 3 Dog nite, most oldies,, and I never tire of classic country. My all the time go to guy is Merle

I know this was an old one but still relevant. We listen to "The Way" by Fastball. Even have the song lyrics on the side of our rig and thanks to Howard and Linda we love the song "Free."

I have to agree with Trace, Free has become our theme song, especially when it gets tough on this last stretch to hitting the road (just a week to go!). We also like the Highway Companion album by Tom Petty - we call it our traveling music.
LMonty, that's a great playlist you have there, I might have to add a few of those to mine. We usually have music on. If we are cleaning or cooking, it is classic rock. For relaxing, it is new age or Celtic music.
