If we start full timing in Sept or October will it be easy to find workamper jobs? Or are most of the jobs starting in the spring and summer.
I am trying to figure out the timing of when to make the jump. Kind of scary especially with the health care the way it is....

You won't have any problem finding workamping jobs in the fall. We workamp pretty much all year round. Just depends on what part of the US you want to be in. If you're not on Workamper.com, join. Lots of ways to find jobs there, as well as some free sites. Google workamping..

Workamping jobs are available year round but certainly the numbers are lower after northern campgrounds and tourist areas shut down for the season. Most posted workamping jobs are advertised and filled a few months in advance, so if you want Fall or Winter jobs, now is the time to start evaluating and applying for positions.
However, there are also positions that become available due to illness, changes in workamper circumstances, employers needing more people than they thought, workampers not showing up for their commitment, etc. This is where a Workamper News subscription that includes the daily Hotline email (Silver level subscription or above) comes in handy. The Hotline includes positions that are more of an immediate need, and there is an email sent out of those positions every business day which are accessible through the website.
We are a Workamper News Concierge and have a description of the different memberships/subscriptions, which changed in July 2015, here: Workamper News Memberships
You'll be fine. :)

If you're looking for a fall/winter workkamping gig, there's always Amazon.
