I cannot seem to find it, but someone posted recently about what they use to polish and/or clean their gel coat finish on their RV. We have an Evergreen. I don't remember if it has a gel coat or a fiberglass finish on the exterior. I would like to find that post to see what they said was an excellent to polish and/ or clean. Thank you, P.K.

Patricia,
If your unit has a gel-coat finish, it's just another type of resin with UV-protectant chemicals and perhaps pigment added. Most fiberglass panels are made by wetting fiberglass weave or roving with an epoxy resin. Many gel-coat finishes (used on top of fiberglass panels and boat hulls) are a polyester resin. Any good automotive or marine cleaners and waxes designed for fiberglass and gel-coat will work well on your fiberglass/gel-coat exterior. DO NOT use any abrasive cleaners such as Soft Scrub or scouring powders. These will deeply scratch and eventually ruin your finish.
