We are thinking of this RV resort for next winter and we were wondering if anyone has stayed here recently. We have looked at their website and the videos on youtube and the size might be of some concern to us. Also the amount of day use people that tend to use the park. We have seen a lot of party videos.

Haven't stayed at that park but it is in a pretty nice area. Lots of shopping and restaurants at the I-4 / Rt 46 exit which isn't far from the park
and you wouldn't be too far from either Orlando or Daytona Beach for day trips.
It is a popular park in that area, so I'm sure it would be quite "busy" at certain times.
Good luck with your search,
Jim

I can't speak for the park itself either...but having lived in the Orlando area for over 25 years, I would say this would be a great location to spend a winter. I can pretty much guarantee that you would not experience cabin fever at any point unless it is self inflicted. Short of mountain climbing you have access to most anything. Hiking, swimming, beaches, zoos, major sporting events, festivals, boating/kayaking/canoe, theme parks, biking trails, shopping, museums and much more. One of the problems I always had with Orlando in the winter time was making a choice of what to do from all the options. The "area" you would be in should be quite comfortable.
...come to think of it, even if mountain climbing is your thing, you can do what most of the locals do and climb Mt. Dora! If you have any specific questions about the Orlando area, I'll be glad to try and help you out.
