We have been in the hunt for a 5th Wheel/Truck combo. We've seen 5 to 6 and learn something new every time. The first thing we learned is longer is not better. So, we've "down-sized" Mrs LandL's need for space to trailers that are no more than 36' long. Anyway....
We looked at a very nice trailer yesterday but there was an odor that, at first, I thought was just trash. But, when I turned on the water in the kitchen sink I smelled .... really stinky smells.
Is this something that can be corrected if it's smells coming from the gray/black tanks?
So much to learn so little time!
Thanks for any comments...suggestions.

If it's just tanks..................That's no biggie. Usually water tanks can get stinky from water sitting for long periods. Just need to spike it with Bleach.
Just make sure the smell isn't rotting structure....

Check well to make sure there isn't any signs of leaks that are causing rotting, mildew, or mold. If it is just the smell from the water in the tanks, that can be flushed out with apple cider vinegar or with bleach.

If it's been sitting a while I would sanitize the fresh water tank. I do mine every year when I put it away. I like this stuff:
