My wife and I are in our mid-60's and are about two years away from officially retiring. Our plan is to then start full-time rving for as long as we enjoy it. We will be spending the next two years getting ready. I've been reading many blogs and postings. We have visited a few RV shows. We rented an RV once for 3 weeks, 24 years ago! It was a class c. We are hoping to have a couple of rental experiences over the next couple of years to get used to what we're walking into. Right now, I am looking at the following potential Class A motorhomes for our journey: Allegro Breeze, Fleetwood Excursion, Winnebago Forza, Newmar Ventana LE. I am looking at Diesels between 32- 36' feet. We're likely to purchase new. Looking on paper, it is very difficult to really identify significant differences among them. I'm wondering what the reputations of each of the vendors are for quality, service and support. I guess those would like end up being the deciding factors. Thank you.

Sorry I can't help with your specific questions about the MH's you mentioned, but the best advice I can offer is to go and see as many as you can in person - you will notice the differences you cannot see on paper. It will become clear which you prefer, floorplan and finish wise, real quick.
As far as support and service, look into if the companies have owners club forums (most do) that you can read and get a feel for the type of service and support they offer.

Kinda a loaded ? re which brand as believe most people will answer the brand they purchased! LOL
Since you have time till retirement recommend you travel via rentals in many different brands and esp floorplans. IMHO the most important thing you can do is to spend time "living" in your potential purchase and esp if it has a slideout/s if you can get down the aisle or into the bathroom with the slide/s in. Do the same with the bed as many do not like to have to climb over their partner to use the restroom at 2AM. not LOL! That small side aisle can make a world of difference esp when it is not there! LOL!

Welcome aboard !!! I know you said you wanted new but you might look at some 4-5 year old coaches in the makes you are interested in just to see how they hold up over time.
