Looking for feedback from RV'ers with personal experience with Thor Challengers, Windsports, or Hurricanes.

My husband and I are retired (69 and 60) and are about to put our home in TN on the market. Our plan is to continue spending the winters in Panama and purchase an RV for me/us to use when I am in the States visiting children/grandchildren (CA, CO and TN). When my children were young and I was a single widow, I bought a 25' trailer and pulled it behind my suburban from Houston to Niagara Falls (among other places). It was equipped with basic features, no bells and whistles, but I loved travelling with it. Now that I am remarried, my husband has never camped and cannot imagine that he would enjoy it. I think he will be surprised once he tries it, but even if he is not, I want to have my own "base" when I am in the U.S.
I have been researching various Class A motor homes, and I have not found many with the second bed over the ****pit area. My husband has restless leg syndrome, so I want a second bed that I can use without having to break down the sofa or dining table every night. I also would like a stacked washer/dryer, a residential refrigerator, and 1 1/2 baths. The Challenger 37TB looks like the perfect floorplan because it has everything plus the extra bunks for grandkids or storing a printer, etc., but I am concerned that a gas coach that large, pulling a CRV toad, will not have enough power to make it through the mountains in CO. I cannot go over $150,000 unless we sell our home for a miraculous price!
I had been told that Thor had problems in the past, but has made tremendous improvements in customer service, etc., but I have also read some comments that indicate Thor is not a high quality manufacturer. If there is another manufacturer who has coaches with the electric drop down bed over the driver/passenger seats that I have not found yet, I would appreciate the info. I would also like to hear from some folks who have had first hand experience with Thor coaches.
