I want to quiet down the engine noise coming from the engine under the dog house in my Gas MH. Which would be better for that, Dynamat Sound deadner, Dynamat Hoodliner or spray on Lizard Skin?? I have a 2016 Bounder. Been on a few trips and love the MH but would like to quiet down the engine noise and also heat from the motor. Thanks

To be honest, when we were full-timing, that's one of the reasons we went to a Diesel Pusher MH when our gas unit started giving us trouble. Never did manage to quiet that gasser down much.

I would use the DynaMat on the inside of the doghouse cover. If you really want to make sure it's as quiet as possible you would need to remove the carpet in the driving area and place DynaMat then reinstall the carpet.
The lizard skin is great if you can cover all of the areas in the engine compartment...it's better applied before the engine is installed.
Also check for any openings in the floor area that may need to be closed up better or insulated.
Another thing to check is the fan clutch if your engine is equipped with one. I had a fan clutch that stuck engaged and the noise coming from the fan was very loud. Replaced the fan clutch and the noise went away.
