We currently have Direct TV with Distant Network Services with an East Coast feed. Just wondering if anyone has tried to switch their feed (to the west coast or vice versa) and what process you went through to change the feed? Getting conflicting info from Direct TV and were just told we would need to fill out another form (same as when we set it up) and it would take six weeks. Grrrr.....

Depends upon where your service address is. We were grandfathered in with both coasts.

Service address is Texas and unfortunately our service is only a couple years old so we are not grandfathered.

If you want West Coast feeds you will have to change your service address to a city in the far west. Do you get any sports packages - like the ability to watch Texas Rangers baseball - if so those will be affected by the service address. Which is one of the reasons we don't switch our service address for the winter. Something to think about before making the switch.
