Does anybody know of a locking fuel cap for the 2016 5500 HD? Bill Napier's local RAM dealer didn't have one and Google didn't reveal any but did find a few that would fit a 3500 so I'm just trying to figure out what model/year to get one for so that it matches. Bill thinks that a 2013 3500 one will fit but isn't sure. Googling for one shows lots of options that do say fits 5500 but no locking ones.
Thanks.

Can't help. We have never owned one. Never seen a need and have had to stay in some shady places due to job nearness.

No such thing. Lots of "plugs" out there. If you really want to lock it then replace the fuel door.

That's really not the reason. More like some kid wanting to have some fun with sand or dirt. Such happenings in parking lots going to the store have occurred. Experience, even in very nice communities, is a good teacher. A little resistance can save a lot of mischief - and trouble.
I'm going to check the local dealer and compare the OEM caps between the 3500HD and the 5500HD. Same engine as such albeit a different implementation of the Cummins.
Neil put me onto some listed for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 3500HD's. So perhaps they will work without throwing a code.

Ford Super Duty people have been griping about this for years, no one can find anything that works.
