I bought a Class A RV this past Fall so I am a newbie going into 2016. I wanted to get an idea of when to Un-Winterize my RV. I am located in IL so if there is anyone in the midwest it would be good to know what your opinion is on this. I want to start using my RV as soon as I can.
My thoughts are sometime in Mid to late March. Whats everyone's opinion on this?

We are in Iowa, and our feeling is usually when freezing temps at night are no longer likely.

A Lot depends on where you are at in Illinois. You may be able to get the info you need at Weatherbase http://www.weatherbase.com/weather/state.php3?c=US&s=&countryname=United-States
You definitely don't want to un-winterize too early. Freezing can damage a lot of your plumbing.

We purchased our RV at the end of last summer and were wondering when it would be safe to un-winterize also. We had 75° temp yesterday so we took the motorhome to the lake for the day. For the last 16 years we have been using a pop-up with no shower so the winterizing was minimal. We have company coming in the middle of March and was thinking of using the shower in the RV. If i had to I could leave the RV out of storage at home plugged in with the heat on until we have warmer temps. We live in central Kansas and just can't wait to get this summer started.
