We are a retired couple from the Netherlands and fulltimers.
The reason I subscribed here is because in Europe fulltiming is not very common and there are no fulltiming forums.
I have browsed through your forums and already found very interesting topics.
We are currently travelling through Europe and right now we are in Morocco.
We are planning on shipping our RV to the USA, and travel around for a year.
Longer than that year is not allowed...
But first we have to save some money.
Bye for now...
Here is our rig in the Sahara desert, where we currently are

Welcome to the forums, Simonne.
You will find this to be a good source of information for your planning of things to see or what to be aware of in the U.S. So, ask away on the questions and I'm sure someone will have an answer for you, or if not, a suggestion of where to find the answer.
With regards to bringing your RV to America, remember that the U.S. has 120V electricity that is 60 cycles per second. Europe has 240V and 50 cycle, so you might need to look into adapters for the plugs. I'm no electrical engineer, but you might also find that the 60 cycle electricity in the U.S. might affect your electrical appliances and accessories.

Thank you for your welcome and the warning about the electricity.
Yes, we are aware of that.
We already bought an inverter/adapter, so no problems there.
The only problem (for me anyway) is that I would love to buy tons of stuff I can't find in Europe, but that won't work on 240 V as we go back...

Welcome, J & S. Having lived in sub-Saharan Africa, all I can say is that the two of you have more guts than I do!! Safe travels and I hope you enjoy your time when you get to the U.S.
