Canadian Full Timers - yes, still here in the snow!

Glad to be here. Really liking the name of this forum - RV Dreams. Perfect!
We are Full Time RVers in Canada. Recently sold our home and everything in it, and packed ourselves into our little Okanagan and headed from Alberta to the interior of British Columbia. Living our dream and so very glad to be doing so.
We are wintering in southern BC. In the north where we moved from, there are also several parks that are FULL of wintering RVers full time. There is every kind of unit with every kind of skirting types and more, to survive the Canadian Cold Winters of the North.
Thank you to all those who have gone before us, and pioneered living full time in an RV. We are learning so much from you.

Welcome aboard fellow Canadians..... Just how comfortable is it in the interior of B.C. this time of year? I keep saying to the wife ,"We got to go check out around B.C. in the winter time instead of flyin' to Mexico."

Its not comfortable at all temperature wise from nov1 through about end of febuary but its one of the best places in north America to grow up and live in
but if you ski or snowmobile etc the weathers great for that the so called interior is a rather large area so I will narrow my remarks to whats called the okanagan valley from
Vernon BC (North) to Penticton (south)

My mother grew up on a farm just north of Enderby, BC backing up to the Shuswap River. She said the winters, while cold were fairly tolerable... being in the "valley".

TRAILERKING there's Victoria, Canada's Hawaii. The flowers should be popping up already! Rarely freezes or snows.

Anyone know of places to go, things to see Possible tour packages? I've thought of Victoria Island to see in the winter time. Even right now Vancouver is +6 and +8. That's a lot better than -18 and -20's

Looked at the hellobc.com site a bit. Sure lots of choices. Going to do a lot of browsing. Don't know about a trip to Vancouver or the Island or to both.
