Does anyone use Cummins coach care or their manitinance and or repair? What has been your experience with them? Good or bad, thanks for your input! Tom

I used them in Orlando when I bought my motorhome in Florida. I wanted a full service, grease job, and check brake adjustment before I took off home on a 2800 mile trip. Was a total rip-off. When I got back home I went through the entire coach with a fine-tooth comb. Nothing touched with the brakes. No grease zerks were touched. Basically changed engine oil and filter and fuel filter. I think there is a new manager there now. The old one was Mike Star. There is a feed back website for all the coachcare places.

We have had uneven luck with them. We have had both great service and mediocre service at the one in Coburg OR (Eugene area), with management and location changes along the way. The ones in Avondale AZ (west side of Phoenix) and Jacksonville FL have been consistently good.

We have used them all over the country and like Bill we've had both good and mediocre service. They are usually more expensive, but if you have nothing to go on but the fact that they are a Coach Care facility (no recommendations, etc.) then I'd go with them. We had great service at the Elkhart, IN one, and they have a 6 space park with table & electric in the back for fulltimers. Lousy service at the one in Houston, had to spend an extra night (locked inside the gate) because they didn't have filters in stock! Where are you looking for service - with such a large group, one of us might have used them before!

Trailerking, bill and barb thanks for your posts! We are Minnesota, cummins coach care is in White Bear lake, MN. Exhust manifold gasket is leaking on Cummins ISL 8.9, may need new manifold if warped or cracked. OUCH!$$ Tom

If cracked cost go up if they have to drill out bolts. They should estimate 16 hrs for labor in case all bolts have to be drilled. We were lucky, only one bolt cracked and they were able to get it out without drilling. Total time was 6 hrs for us.

Made appt with Cummins coach care in White Bear Lake, Mn. Took in Tues night for Wed appt picked up Fri noon work completed. New exhust manifold, gaskets and bolts, all the old bolts came out with no issues! Joined Cummins power club and saved 10% on parts and labor. Very happy with their prompt service and the cost was the same as what others had posted on other forums. It was one of the best repair experiences that I have had! Tom
