I was filling up my truck and noticed the outside rear tire on the driver's side wasn't seated against the rim. I saw what looked like a bolt sticking out of the tread.
It turned out to be a large wheel weight. It went through the tread and was over an inch into the inside of the tire.
So a GoodYear G47 with only 12,000 miles has now become my spare.

As someone who just bought a Goodyear G14 due to an alignment issue, I feel your pain (in the wallet). At least you didn't have a blowout or something worse.
