Would you believe, they've done this with an Caravan in England by the name of Gidget. What makes it different from the "regular" teardrop is that it has a slide-out in the front. 10,000 pounds British currency, or $15,600 U.S. dollars. It was designed by an Australian couple and would cost 22,000 Aussie dollars.
Maybe we ought to get one of these for ourselves. In about 10 days, we'll be going to Molas Lake Campground near Silverton, Colorado and doing some tent camping with some others. Considering the tent camping at 69 years old, a Gidget would give us some luxury.

Innovative concept, however I wouldn't want to take it too far off the beaten path with those tires.

Kudos to you, Terry! With my arthritis, I could never get in and out of a tent any more!

Well, as far as getting in and out, do you suppose that trailer's door would be better than getting into a tent. As far as tent camping goes, at our age we go for the full sized tents that we can walk into standing up. I don't care for that crawling around either.

Henry,
I answered in your "Profile Picture" thread in Community Chat. I don't know if that is enough information, but if it isn't let me know and I'll see if I can still help you.
