We have been researching our first RV. We like the Keystone Courgar and Montana model fifth wheels. We will be using it part-time to begin with. Since it is just the 2 of us, we would like something in the 30 - 37' models. However, it seems those lengths all have queen-size beds. Do you know of any that have king-size beds or can they be retro fitted? A king-size bed is a must-have. Price range: $50-$60,000. Thanks!

You might want to look at the Heartland Bighorn and Big Country lines.
A king size bed was optional when we bought our Montana. You will lose the small shelves on either side of the bed. You can change out the plywood platform to fit a king size.
Cheers!

Chip (sushidog) is exactly right in suggesting either the Big Horn or Big Country. Both are rated and warranted for full time use. They offer a good choice of floor plans and lengths.

We just bought a used 2013 Montana and the previous owners ordered it with a king bed. We have small shelves on each side and it is tight by the closet but manageable.

We have a Keystone Everest 37 ft. with a king size bed; so we cut the plywood and put a queen size in and put tables on each side. In our S,B. with the king size bed I would swing my arm over and no wife. Now we find each other no problem. We lived, we had to get used to it, now it works, no problem.

I would be cautious about buying a Keystone. I have heard more than one instance of Keystone denying warranty coverage if they discover that it is being used for fulltime living. In fact, there was a thread about one couple's experience on the fulltime page on Facebook just yesterday.
We have a 2013 Montana 3582Rl that is 39 ft. We are full time. When we had warranty work done we simply did not say that we were fulltime. It wasn't a problem. Very minor things with the exception of roof staples that they replaced with screws. I was just saying the other day how pleased I am that after 15 months on the road fulltime, our structure, fabric, flooring, appliances, etc all looks like new (except carpet matting on the steps). It came with a king bed option but we put our sleep number queen in and love the extra space. It also has a small table on each side.
