Looking for some advice here. We have a box mounted Sani Con system on the MH. We are one month in on a summer long trip and the hose started to leak where the twist lock is below the gate valves. I new the original clear piece had a broken ear but it hadn't leaked the year that we have owned the MH. I thought I can fix this and went and bought a new adapter and twisted it onto the hose and then used a hose clamp also. Still leaked, I tried the hose a little and tried again with the same results. I then went and bought another adapter this time with no threads where it goes onto the hose thinking that was the problem. Nope it is leaking at the twist lock. I looked online at Thetford's website ant it talks of some seals that come with their original adapter. Does anyone know about this? I am stumped here as to what the actual difference is in the twist lock connection. Thank's for any help.

You're talking about where the 4 bayonet tabs that lock the hose on? There is a rubber seal inside the end of the piece. Seals are available at Walmart in the little RV section by the automotive parts. Or any RV center. Camco makes them.

I looked at the first adapter that I bought and there is an o-ring inside. That is the adapter that I twisted onto the hose and then used a hose clamp. Not sure now but I thought that adapter was leaking where I attached the hose to the adapter. The second adapter was simply a push on with a barbed end. That one for sure was leaking at the bayonet connection so it may have been missing the o-ring seal. I will check on that after the sun comes up this morning. Thank you for the idea.
