Congratulations.
It is an exciting time. Two pieces of advice:
Enter the lifestyle and stay debt free.
Everyone has a different way of full timing. You need to develop your own. Don't let others talk you into their way.
See you out there.

Congrats and welcome!! We've certainly done things our way and followed Howard's advice that there is no "right" way to FT, in fact I think we've broken many, many of the "rules"!

Congratulations! Starting debt free like you are is certainly one of the best ways to go. Another suggestion for a membership is Passport America. For no more than it costs, it will pat for itself almost as soon as you use it. You will also quickly find out that just about every RPI park is also a Coast To Coast park, so you might find yourself dropping one of these two memberships. Good luck and hope to meet you some day along the way!

I agree with Rick and Janice on the Passport America. With some of the "clubs," one might find themselves in less-than-ideal campgrounds. For instance, there is one north of Colorado Springs (Coast to Coast, I think) that it right next to Interstate-25. We were visiting with a couple that had to stay out of the park for a week, and they told us that the wife had to put ear plugs in her ears in order to get any sleep. Passport America will give you discounts in places that are more ideal.
For three years, we lived in our Mobile Suites (think good insulation and sound reduction) within 100 yards of I-44 in Oklahoma City. At night, we either ran an electric heater in the winter or an oscillating fan in the summer in order to reduce the noise level even more for sleeping.
