There has always been the question of, what is considered fulltime, just living in an RV or actually traveling in an RV. Well to avoid the conflict we recognize both!!! Hey why not, we always look for a reason to celebrate LOL!!!
So with this in mind on July 1st we came up on our 3 year Anniversary of Full-timing. November will be our 3rd year anniversary of actually traveling fulltime.
Like so many we hit the road with the thought of giving it a 1 year trial run and loved it so much we just kept going and have no real end in sight at this time. Life is good.

A couple old fulltimers told me long ago that three years is the magic number. Once someone is fulltime for three years, there is no telling how long they will be on the road. So, you made it!

Three years seems to be the burn out time for a lot of people who never get out of vacation mode. And sometime around 5 yrs we've seen a lot of people drop out because of health issues, sometimes to return, sometimes not.

I wonder if it's because at about 1 year I forgot pretty much about the old job. And it wasn't that long ago we stopped thinking about the nice place we used to have and now this is really the life we consider normal. We see no real end to this life style even though we know it will at some point. Probably varies from person to person I guess.

I could see that. For the majority of our 3 years we have moved about every 7 days and it's just starting to catch up to me a bit, does not seem to bother Diane at all. That's why we are going to give sitting in one spot 30 days this winter to see if we might enjoy that. But far from burnt out in our case so far. But we are keeping our eyes open for a spot that fits us to sit for maybe 3 months each winter, just have not (and may not) find that spot yet.
