His announcement is well crafted and addresses some issues many of us face as we approach the decision of retirement. When is it "our time"? As empty nesters, with a couple of exceptions, the answer is "several months ago" or ASAP.

ASAP here too. Exactly 3 yrs and 26 days to go to retirement, but who's counting?
This article appeared a few months ago, but I saved it because I share his sentiment. I don't think he's going to be fulltiming, though. :)
