Had a little excitement during my work camping shift earlier this week. This is what happens when you forget to chock your wheels after leveling off and disconnecting you trailer. And really...I'd pick a different spot to walk. Luckily they only had slight damage to a stabilizer.

Wow.....
I made some video copies for a lawyer for a lawsuit he was working on. An RV'er had parked his 5th wheel on a slight downhill. He hadn't chocked the wheels. When he went to hitch up, his wife was standing between the back of the truck and the 5th wheel guiding him into the hitch. The pin was too high so she began to lower it. Unfortunately the pin came down on the front of the saddle, this took the weight off of the landing gear and the 5th wheel lurched forward.
The RVer's wife didn't survive. The husband was suing the hitch and RV manufacturers for his mistake.
I always chock the wheels no matter how level the ground is.

That's where knowledge and training come in to play........Quite a lot of people don't have a clue to even be dealing with a small utility trailer. Then right away ................SUE.
