I am replacing the entire floor covering in my 5th wheel. Would it be best to remove the cabinets etc. and restore it as from the factory?

My DH has replaced floor coverings in both RVs and houses as a professional remodeler and I have never seen him remove cabinets unless the cabinets were to be replaced with new ones. Many cabinets are rather flimsy and may fall apart. Many of them are placed on a sub-floor, not the floor covering that you can see. It may be more work than what you want to handle. If the cabinets are in good, solid condition I would not remove them.

the factory places the floor coverings under the cabinets because the cabinets and such were not installed......it actually cost less money durring manufacturing to do it this way because it cuts down on labor costs.......

Hey, Thank you, for the question and sharing information. Well, removing the cabinets and replacing them would be a right thing of choice to get it done in a proper way. Recently, when one of my cousins encountered the same problem they decide to contact an expert Remodeler who was well versed, and who analysed deeply for the sake of clear interpretation concluding more information, they got into a proper perspective and met the solution.
