This morning I could not get the roof mounted antenna to stow. Error was that the AZ motor stalled. I manually got the antenna down so we could move on. My question is how do I get this fixed on the road. I got paper work from Winegaurd but is seems I need to send the unit back. Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks: Mark

Mark:
Now that the unit is stowed and the limit switches have been cycled, have you tried raising the antenna again to see if the problem cleared; especially after a reboot of the controller.
In the diagnostic mode you can run the El and Az motors for testing without having the antenna hunt for a satellite.
Sounds like you have already spoken to Winegard tech support and have an equipment RMA based on their findings. But I just thought I would ask nonetheless.I’d try that.
Please report back whatever you discover with the process.
Thanks

Bill: As soon as we get to our site today I will give that a try. We are just south of where the tornados were yesterday so we are rerouting some what today.
Thanks and I will reply with what I find.

Stay safe out there. We were monitoring that last night with our hearts going out to all in the area – especially around Moore.
Feel free to PM me if you need help with the Diagnostic function.
