Over the past year I have blown about 5 fuses on our fridge. They are the small glass 5 amp fuses located behind the panel outside the rig. I replace the fuse and it will last anywhere from a day to a couple of weeks but in the end it blows. It works fine on LP so at least I have a working fridge.
Any ideas of what might be going on?

Look for a loose connection (wire) or a bare wiring that is grounding out. Wiggle the wires and see if you can blow the fuse. Check to see if the cooling fins are clean or if a bird built a nest... Look in the top service access also.
Hope this helps.

Maybe the control board on the refrigerator could be malfunctioning?

Thanks Red, checked each of these. Tightened the ground screw to see if that makes a difference. Everything else looked good. We will see how long this fuse lasts.

It is so random so this is what I was wondering as well. If I cannot find the cause this may be my next option.

Clean the plug/connector with alcohol or lightly sand, maybe a bad contact there.
