We have a 2007 Sunnybrook 5th wheel. We would like to take the dinette out. There is storage underneath that you can access from the outside also. Does this mean there is a big hole under the dinette benches? We don't want to start tearing it apart & run into something. Any help & pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lorri

Are there any access ports underneath the dinette cushions so that you can take a look? Or can you tell from the outside access if the depth is all storage? That would let you know what might be under there. Each unit is so different.
With ours, we discovered the furnace was underneath one of the dinette booths.. others have found other critical elements (plumbing, wiring, etc.). We decided we wanted the dinette gone over having a furnace.. which has worked out pretty well for us so far. (We just use space heaters for the rare chilly nights we encounter.)

We checked. Nothing under there. I think we can just lock the outside accesses. Maybe have a couple of screens made so we can open them if it's nice.
Does anyone have before & after pics they would mind sharing?
Thanks,
Lorri

Keep us informed we have a 2007 Sunnybrook fiver we plan to remove the dinette from and replace it with a table and chairs also, hate to loose our "food pantry" but we don't like the arrangement. I like your screen idea for the outside access ports.
One thing to keep in mind is the back-board of the bench will usually act as a gusset from the wall to the floor of the slide. Once remove that.................your gusset support for the floor is GONE.

Thanks Trailerking. The bench was not connected to the wall, only the floor. The sofa isn't connected to anything so it will be easy to remove.

Great look and table and chairs look more comfortable than dinette. Maybe some day I'll get my wish and remove ours. By the way, how come you haven't mentioned the fur people? Do they travel with you?

Thanks Dyana! Our 2 Goldens & our cat always travel with us. We can't imagine not taking them with.
