Was going through my May 2015 Trailer Life mag and saw an add for Viking Propane Cylinders. Appears they have various sizes and they're lighter weight. Anybody use these? Are they worth it and is there any issue with getting them filled?
Thanks and happy trails.

A quick search on the internet and I am not finding 30# or 40# tanks that are normally used in RV's. The biggest I saw was a 17# tank that would be good for a grill, but not for an RV.
Cheap and only 23.5 lbs. I've seen some 30lb (7.1 gallon) steel propane tanks that weigh 36-37 lbs.
7.1 gallon aluminum tanks are available but cost 3 times as much and weigh about 18lbs, so you're only saving about 5.5 lbs for over $100 price difference - about the same price difference as a 4.1 gallon Viking propane tank (10lbs) . www.vintagetrailersupply.com/30_Vertical_Aluminum_Tank_p/vts-169.htm

Did you find larger tanks somewhere?
