About what year are you interested in also?? I wouldn't just look at the "LOW" 40,000 mile category. A lot of those that are low milers were parked and used as a "Full Time" house. They then take a real beating of abuse and wear'n'tear. When I was looking...............I'd get to the front door then turn and walk away.
Bad enough mine came from a cat lover. The result of that was balls and mounds of cat hair hidden all over the place(which took endless hours to get rid of, had to pull furniture out to clean behind it). Blinds chewed and damaged by the feline. Claw puncture marks on some of the leather upholstery.
However................You can find some actual "Low Milers" that are awesome well taken care of units.
Good luck. Post up what you find later on. Be interested to see what you come up with.

Howdy Howdy Hogsheartrvs,
I hope you find exactly what your looking for in a MH. One thing I would ask is why just 40,000 miles on a diesel ? Diesel engines are not even broken-in at 40,000 miles. But maybe that's what you are looking for, so you can finish the break-in period for the engine. Most diesel engines will run 800,000 to 1,000,000 miles with good maintenance before needing an overhaul. Age and sitting is the worst thing that can happen to the diesel engine and it's components. Just my opinion after 40 yrs of driving and owning diesel trucks and over 5 million certified accident free miles.
I hope the next message you receive, will be from someone with your perfect MH !

Our Winnebago Journey is available. 2002 38', two slides. Has the Cat Diesel (durn good engine) but twice the miles you are looking for since it's in the neighborhood of 88,000 miles. We have replaced the slide toppers and installed a roof a/c heat pump combo since our basement air went DOA. We also wired the rear roof vent for a future a/c unit but found we really didn't need it. We replaced all the furniture including a new electric couch and Euro recliner. The floors have all been redone in wood laminate with ceramic tile in the bath and kitchen area. I updated the televisions with new flat screens last year. The tires are Goodyear and have about 14,000 miles on them, they are about 3 years old, I have tire covers that I use when parked. The unit has one smaller solar panel that keeps the batteries charged while parked. We lived in the unit full time from October 2012 until coming off the road this past December. We have a firm price of $56,000 and are located in the Black Hills of SD. Send me a PM and I can give you our contact info if anyone is interested. I have a photo of the rig on my blog http://workinrvers.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-big-move.html
