just curious what everyone does with the covers that come new with RV's. I'm tempted to throw them away, but I thought I'd check and see what everyone else does. Thanks!

Ours are made of the same material as the countertops so we use them as continuous covers all the time.

We store them at my sister's. I don't think we would ever use them again, but if we ever trade the rig in or sell it, we will have them.

We put ours in the basement compartment and forget about them.

Kept ours for a couple of years....never used them......gave them away to someone who wanted to use them beside their outdoor grill.

The only ones I have covers the sink. I keep them on the side of the stove - they don't take up much room. I cover the sink while traveling, and use them sometimes when I need extra counter space for cooking.

In our last fiver we found them more trouble than they were worth, then stored them away. Our Summit didn't come with any.

We do the same as Barb...Ours too are made of the same material as the countertops so we use them as continuous covers all the time.

Ours are the same material as countertop. The stove top hinges up so it's always in place. The sinks we use all the time. No big issue.

Ours stay on most of the time and especially when prepping meals I love the added counter space. The stove top ones have a storage slot behind it and the sink ones fit in the space under the sink.

Our current travel trailer is small - we use the sink cover to gain added counter space (it's where the coffee maker goes in the morning). The stove cover is attached and hinged, so is always there.

You could sell them on ebay or craigs list. I don't use my stove, because I am going all electric. I bought a cover for the stove, so I can use the area more easily.

I store mine up against the wall next to the fridge, pull them out on the rare occasions I need counter space, and always use them on travel days. They are also good covers for the sink when freinds come over and you haven't done all your dishes...just throw them on real quick :)

Our stove cover is hinged & just folds up & down so it stays where it is. I store the sink covers on a shelving unit that hubby built for me. It also houses small appliances. I often put the sink covers in place on the sink for extra counter space when I'm chopping a lot of veggies or cooking a meal with a lot of ingredients. I wouldn't be without them.

I'm currently looking for sink covers (or cutting boards of the appropriate size) for our Chalet.
Our Montana 5th wheel came with a full set (2 for the sinks, 2 for the stove) that match the counters. We always use one of each and there is a special built-in storage for them (and the convection rack) when not being used.

We never use our stove. I have a countertop induction burner I love, so they stay on. My sink ones are off almost all the times. Hubby put a hook under the sink in the back of the cabinet to hang ours on. They have holes to pull them out and a large coat type hanger worked.

We cut ours in half and use that half over the sink for additional counter space.

Could also put them under your levelling jacks so they don't sink in the ground.....
