We are Ben and Rebecca, citizens of the world but our home base is in Alaska. In 2011, we bought a 1999 32' Allegro to save money on hotel rooms when we travel for business. RV'ing quickly became a passion! Working from home/RV allows us to spend most of the short Alaskan Summer RV'ing around. Fast forward 4 years, we have covered most of the Alaska Road System and had a lot of great experiences.
P.S. If you have any questions about traveling to Alaska, we would love to help.

Great blog/vlog. I've added it to my favorites. Alaska is on our to-do-list for the future. It looks like your blog will be part of my research material. Thanks for all the info.

Hoping to make Alaska either 2016 or 2017. Now I know where I can get some more information. :)
Your blog is going to be on my reading list. Have a great summer! We have new neighbors that just moved here from Alaska. I think they are going to miss the scenery in Alaska, no mountains in Iowa.

Welcome to the forum!
If you still around we’ll be in Seward about the end of July +/-.But I’ll bet you’ll be traveling by then.
Looking forward to getting back to one of my favorite places and spending a little time on the Kenai Fjords.

Thanks Everyone! We would love to head South for the winter and explore the Lower 48 for 6 months. The hardest thing is leaving a house unattended in this extreme climate. Some winters are very mild like the one we are coming out of, others we will get all of Boston's snow in one week. Bill & Linda, look us up when you are here. I can almost guarantee our paths would cross, there are only about 10 highways in the whole state!

We are in the talking/pre-planning stages for an Alaska trip for 2016. I will add your blog to my must-read list! I am sure it will be very helpful to have a native Alaskan's input!
Thanks and happy trails!

Rocknb, I'm always needing help, LOL. Rebecca says I can keep fixing things until I start costing us more money than I save us!
Our Allegro didn't come with a owners manual. I've made many phone calls to Tiffen for assistance. Simple things like a fuse block diagram are priceless.

Welcome Ben and Rebecca! We are not full time, yet, but hoping to be on the road by the end of summer. When I was in the service I was all over Alaska...Kodiak, Attu, Seward, Sitka, Juneau, Anchorage, Dutch Harbor and a few other places. I loved everyplace I went to and we're hoping to make more than one trip there once we get on the road. Maybe someday we'll be neighbors in a campground somewhere down the road!
Hello Forum,

This time exploring Alaska has inspired us to start a travel blog. www.his-hers-alaska.com
Another new hobby is making videos!
We look forward to getting to know everyone.
