I hope all is well for everyone-Wife and I are just getting ready to get our first 5th wheel, we have an older Class C that hasn't been on the road in a few years. I was searching for info on higher end used RV's and pulled up a great thread from site. Best RV's for full time use, or something close to that. It had great info about different brands. We studied Motorhomes for two years and now the 5er's are a bird of a different kind.
Now to just find that thread again lol. But anyhow, we are trying to get everything lined up best we can, we have a f350 7.3 now so figured to just go ahead with a 5th wheel.
See ya'll in the threads, Farmer

Charles,
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. It is definitely a good site for information about RV's and the RV lifestyle. I think you'll like it here; well, except for maybe all the Texans that are around here.
Jo and I are Oklahoma natives that just last June retired from our employment in Oklahoma City. We were both raised in the Panhandle. Since our retirement, we've moved to Colorado in our Mobile Suites fifth wheel. If you are considering full-timing in cold weather country, the DRV Suites' Elite and Mobile Suites models have 3 1/4" walls and very good insulation. We've experienced temps ranging from -6 degrees in Colorado to 115 degrees in OKC and still been very comfortable.
Glad to have you here. Good luck with your research and planning.
Just as a side thought, would you happen to be on any Oklahoma forums about other topics?
Terry

Welcome, Farmer. You've definitely come to a great resource... and a great bunch of folks.
Our home is in southwestern Oklahoma but we are working and staying in southeastern Kansas. We travel down by Stillwater about every 3rd weekend as we go back to mow the lawn.
