I have a small crack, maybe 3 inches long in the wall of my shower. Any ideas on the best way to repair it?
Thanks in advance!

I'd use duct tape for a temp repair. A friend had his crack over last winter. He called a boat repair place and they had a guy come out and do some type of fiberglas repair on it. It looks great but I have no idea how it will hold up.

Laura,
Is it a hard Fiberglas wall, or is it soft plastic?

The problem is unless you stop all movement, the crack will continue to expand...you could try some JB weld and some mesh over it, after it dries, paint it...It will not disappear , you will always see the repair, but it might hold up..

The crack is plastic; not fiberglass. At this point I have clear caulk behind it and clear gorilla tape on top.
The repair kits are all for fiberglass.

Stop drill the crack before doing any repair. This will prevent the crack from spreading any further.

I agree totally with RV-Vagabond, but if you have never attempted this maneuver, let me give you a hint. It only takes a small drill bit, maybe a 1/4 " normally would be plenty large. Then just drill at the both ends of the crack and then only through the plastic. No need to drill into the wall. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
