The ants have taken over and it's time to start spraying. What brand do you recommend? How frequently do you spray and where?? I have no pets FYI

Check with the locals first, since there are now some exotic ants that require special treatment. So far Raid Ant spray and Terro, a gel you put on small pieces of paper which the ants eat and go share with the nest, have done the job. Spray your hoses and power cord entrance areas and watch for branches touching the RV.

When we were invaded by ants in Georgia the camp host recommended Home Defense. Has worked great.
Good luck!

As Bill stated, check with local people and also read the labels on the insecticide containers. When we were in Oklahoma and had ant problems, I used Spectracide that I bought at Walmart. I sprayed around all the wheels, leveling jack stands, hoses and electrical cords, and anything else that made contact with the ground. We were living in one place for 3 years, and I usually only had to spray once or twice a year.

Sprinkle borax around and on cords, hoses, etc. just before they enter the rig.

Unless you have grandchildren or other young children visiting.
Borax is more dangerous to little ones than adults.
