Howdy, just curious as to if anyone is using the Anderson Hitch? Feed back on this is appreciated.

FYI "Andersen"
They may be ok for a lighter RV but no way would I use one at or anywhere it's max ratings. I see no way to lock RV to the hitch. You will get bed deflection with heavy load. Just compare side by side to a B&W for example.

Have not seen one but have viewed it on line. It appears to be light weight. I personally would not have it. It may be all right for a light weight 5ther but I would not recommend it. We use "jack stands" at work to support pipe. They are built very similar. They have great downward load supporting. No lateral loading. If a leg gets damaged, slight bend, it would collapse under load. I know some will praise them. They are light, easy to remove. That is not a plus.

I use their rapid hitch .. and have for years. Regularly bumper pulled 12k on the 10k hitch.. no issues.. ever.
I would think you would want a weight distribution hitch.. used one when I had to back mt Jeep w/ Dana 60's into my cargo trailer.. so the engine was at the rear..
Worked great.. the good ones are about 500.. but worth the money.
