Going full time in 2 months and have been looking at different hitches. I've looked at Reece, ProSeries and Curt hitches. Does anyone have a recommendation? The service guy where we bought the 5th wheel said any one of those is a good hitch as long as the weight rating is correct. Our 5th wheel is 18,000 pounds. Appreciate any comments.

When we upgraded our hitch we went with the Curt Q24.
Really like the Curt hitch, it has a wider stance at the base than many others do.

First of all, welcome to the RV Dreams forums. You will find this to be a good place for answers to questions.
Considering the weight of your trailer, you might also consider one of the air ride fifth wheel hitches. TrailerSaver is one that gets pretty good reviews. The air ride will help smooth out the ride. Otherwise, we've had two different Reese hitches over the years and have done pretty good with them. Our current set-up is a 22K Reese and our trailer has the Trail-Air air ride suspension and air ride pin box with tri-glide, so ours is pretty smooth towing as well.

Might want to also look at a B&W. Made in Kansas, love mine after having 3 other brands in 3 different trucks. I like the all welded construction of the B&W. No cast parts like others have.
