woke up this morning to frozen water lines. currently we are home camping in the RV in the driveway. It is very cold with a negative windchill. the problem is that we can not locate the Frozen portion because our lines are in foam under the RV. since we are in the RV it is not the inside pipes as it is in the low 80s in the RV and the heat tapes have been on for days. Any suggestions on what to do when you CAN NOT locate the frozen pipe. please don't suggest moving to warmer weather as that's not possible since our daughter is getting close to having our grandson. believe me if it was possible we would be outta here.

I would look for lines close to the exterior wall, low spots in the lines or the filter screen where the water line hooks to the coach.
Good luck,

we had an issue with ours once inside the wet bay compartment when the temps dropped into the single digits, ended up putting a space heater inside the compartment and that thawed out the line, kept the extra heat in there and it stayed thawed until things warmed up some. The furnace was running but just could not keep the basement warm enough to prevent this one pipe from freezing. I have also heard of the low point drain lines freezing and that causing problems inside the coach.

If your unit has low point drains they can sometimes freeze and work up to the lines which carry your water.
