Well, to make you feel the cold even more, it is suppose to top out at around 77-79° today in Mesa, AZ with a low tonight in the high 40s. It is so hard to take this weather, wonder which shorts to wear today and whether we have enough sunscreen left, but someone has to do it, so we took on the challenge.

OK I just have to say it's a relief to be back in AZ. Did our first "flyaway" vacation, aka the family Christmas visit to TX/OK this winter. Absolutely hated seeing snow on the ground in OKC, the wind chill was miserable. Yes, I know Winter Storm Frona made AZ a bit chilly while we were gone, but still, I missed seeing the sun. It left us on our second day of the family visit and finally returned the day we were flying back to Phoenix, 12 days later. Now we're in Quartzsite, abundant sunshine, temps are getting better, chilly at night but glorious sunsets and beautiful sunrises. Ah yes, this is why we sold the S&B in Seattle and headed south for the winters!!

You are preachin' to the choir! -3 when I got into my truck to go to work today(I was surprised my vehicle even started at that temp). Don't worry-be happy. Hubby and I have quite a while to wait to go full time and we look forward to it through all of this cold and bother. It's not the end of anything that drags us down now that is in sight, it is the beginning of our full time life that is in our sights. Keep warm.

Rub it in, rub it in! Southern Florida,, Texas and California are to crowded for this old country boy! At least the southern hospitality hasn't completely left here, like has happened to most of Florida! If I were rich I would be in Southern Arizona or maybe San Diego! s Living here in TN. Is kind of centrally located from my old homestead and Michigan! I knew it was going to get cold here, but dropping from the 60's to a real feel of -10 is ridiculous! lol!

Don't have to be rich to enjoy the warm weather in Arizona. There are all types of parks for every income level, private parks, state parks, county parks or boon docking in the desert. Though it will be cool today, only 73°, not the 81° of a couple of days ago.

PIERRE, I would love to be back in Tennessee even with that weather. Working in North Dakota with the hubby and yesterday and the day before was around -50 with wind chill! BRRRR!!! Thank goodness him and I are both management and don't have to endure it out in the field (in that kind of weather, everyone gets sent home except those of us in the office though..lol). BRUTAL!!! Come May, Clarksville, TN is calling my name again

Winter just isn't being nice this year. We have a little storm coming over the desert and it is only going to get to about 69° today. I need to go find the long underwear again if this cold continues.
