A great big thank you to all of our veterans everywhere, both U.S. and Canadian! The world is a better place because of you!

My thanks also to all the fellow vets. I also want to extend thanks to the families of those veterans that also sacrificed something to allow their family members to serve.
On a side note, in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado, both cities had their Veteran's Day parades on Saturday. It was nice and balmy for the parades, while today it is down in the teens at 10:30 am.

They had the parade this morning here and the temp was about 24 degrees. I saw the photos online. We appreciate the service of both the veterans and the active duty personnel. We should all appreciate our freedom because a lot of effort went into securing it and even more into trying to keep it.

Agree with all of you! Thank you to all of you who have served our country, and for allowing us to have these forums like this and our freedoms!
Happy Veterans Day!

Just as an aside thought, one that those in Arizona might want to see, is the Anthem Veterans Memorial in Anthem, Arizona. It is a memorial with five pillars, each with a large hole in that on November 11 at 11:11 am each year has the sun illuminating the seal of the United States. Check out the link below and look at the "Gallery" page to see the memorial with differing angles of view.
