We are in need of new tires for our 2013 GMC 3500 Dually. Reading previous posts I see a lot of recommendations for the Michelin XPS Ribbed however when I search for them I cannot find them in 235/80R17 which is what we have on the truck now.
Any other recommendations?

Michelin LTX AT-2 has been a good tire for us.

The Michelin XPS rib is a fine tire and very durable for the market it’s designed for. However, its classified as a summer tire.
Our dually came with tires having a very similar tread pattern, they were from Goodyear. I was never happy with them while towing on wet or slick roads and changed them early. I now use a more aggressive tread pattern. They are not noisy and they give me more road traction for a more stable ride.

After doing a little more research I think I am leaning towards Michelin LTX M/S2. They seem to get very good reviews.

Very pleased with this tire. We’re on our second set on the 2012 Chevy 3500HD.No issues – long wear.It came as OEM and we were pleased with that.
Truck is towing a big 5er and the tire has performed well, including during one panic stop with the trailer connected. All 12 tires did their job as did the disc brakes on the trailer. Excellent tire for the truck

Check out Nitto tires. A cousin of mine was able to purchase a set of tires with that certain size recently.

This thread is 4 years old, and I imagine the original poster has already purchased tires. Thus, I'm closing this thread.
