Are steering stabilizers helpful and worth the expense etc. for a diesel pusher motorhome?
Thanks much!

I have "steer safe" which I like very much. I use it on a 2002 Dutch Star diesel pusher. I bought it & had it installed by the manufacturer in Deming New Mexico. It is way less expensive than others & I can attest to it working well in windy conditions. This is one of the few products I have no trouble endorsing.
Will the installation of the steering stabilizer require a new alignment for the front end?

No, but it has to be loosened to do the alignment and then reconfigured when done. Not all techs doing alignments seem able to realize that or be competent about it.

Agreed with bjoyce.......Watch the videos in this link that Bill put up earlier. www.safe-t-plus.com/
It's pretty self explanatory and one heck of a good system.

We thought it was worthwhile. We have a Safe-T-Plus, http://www.safe-t-plus.com/.
Thanks much to each of you for the info. I expect to buy and get one installed soon.
